Nearing the End...

The school year is coming to an end and there have been field trips, extra credit events, plays, last minute assignments...you know all the fun stuff that kids do at the end of the school year that make the parents want to pull their hair out. Last week we went to an extra credit event for a Civil War reenactment. It was way cooler than I expected and my overachieving (amazing) daughter pulled her grade up from an A to an A plus. She must get that gene from my husband.

Isaac is now getting used to the kids at school and it's so cute to see a couple of sweet little girls vocalize how excited they are so see him. What can I say, he's a ladies man! Next year he will be too old to attend this school so I have some researching to do at this other place and hopefully it will be a good fit. If he goes, it will be during the fall and the spring months and then he will have the home-bound program in the winter months. This way he doesn't get respiratory illnesses, but will have the best of both worlds. Isaac is staying well, other than an ear infection he had a week and a half ago. His ear smelled bad. Now after some drops the smell has gone away. Now off to load up this sweet boy and the nurse for school this morning.....

Side note: Feedburner isn't working properly for people who want to sign up for email updates. Trying to work on the hiccups and why this is happening. (Sorry Heidi:)
