Going Places

Isaac has very low muscle tone so he has never been able to crawl or walk, but that doesn't mean that he isn't going places! He's been rolling for awhile, but a few weeks ago when I put him on the floor he disappeared! He's found creative ways of getting around. When he wants something, he rolls until he gets it! It's really nice to see that he isn't bored when I put him on the floor anymore. Another thing that he loves to do is dance. I will have to post a video of him dancing to row row the boat, it's too cute! I hold him up and he gets those legs moving with a great big smile on his face!

Ivey is a roller too. She'll be four next month and still it is her means of transportation. Works for us. He is another miracle!

He needs to come and teach Carter some rolling technique. He's happy where he is lol. As always, Isaac is SUCH a cutie pie!

Love it! You GO Mr. Isaac! Ian has just mastered the butt scoot as a means to get around- "Scooter" is his new nickname lately! So wonderful to see independent mobility- no matter what it looks like! I don't know if it's the birthday, but when I look at Isaacs pictures, I see my Ian sometimes- they look like they could be brothers- wouldn't it be great if we could get them together someday! 2 Colleen momma's with two sweet special boys- born on the same day.... crazy stuff!
Have a great weekend!

Yep, Isaac, you are a "roller!" I've seen you do it, and it's pretty innovative for a little guy like you. You know what you want, and you go get it!. I can see how your persistence has probably helped you with your survival, that and God's grace.

Love,
your Gammy

rolling is how it all starts. I never thought arianna would do any of those things as well, but once she figured out how to roll to get places it seems more things have 'clicked'. She has crawled a short distance. keep working on the little things, and the big things will find a way to break through!!!
