Prayers and Praises

Praises: The sun is starting to peak out behind the clouds and the days are getting longer. Spring is just around the corner! Goodbye winter. On Sunday it got up to a whopping 55 degrees and Isaac was excited to get out in his swing and have Sister push him. I asked him if he wanted to go outside and he made his gesture that said "yes."

Prayers: Healthwise we could definitely use some prayer:

Me: I have minor surgery scheduled for the middle of May. For most people that's not a big deal, but with a special needs child anything that puts Mama out of commision for a few days is usually not good.

Sister: Without too much information for her own privacy, she really needs prayer. For the past month she has been struggling with a health issue. Basically within 3 days after being on antibiotics she starts having symptoms again. This causes her to miss school more than I would like. The Dr's are still scratching their heads and I'm banging my head against a brick wall. She deserves more than this. There are some more tests they can schedule here before we may move on to Seattle. She has another appointment with a specialist on Monday.

Isaac: Isaac is being a mystery lately and is needing up to 1 liter of oxygen at night ever since he had that cold. He needs to have an A+ in his respiratory status in order to start attending school again.

Me again: Hi, it's me again. You know the lady who paints a smile on her face, but is sometimes hanging on by a thread. I know the verse "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light," but I often feel like I should be 3 steps ahead of things and have all the answers. I know that's not a realistic expectation.

Thank you for your prayers and for continuing to read about our journey.

You are all always in my constant prayers. Just know He hears our prayers and knows our needs and our future is in His hands.
Love, Gammy
