Cancelled

Isaac's surgery was cancelled this morning after he was accessed and everything. They did a last minute lab draw on him and his Potassium levels were dangerously low. Of course we are used to critical levels around here and it normally doesn't phase us, but the anesthesiologist didn't want to touch him. They were afraid he was at risk for his heart stopping while under anesthesia. You know, normally I don't feel so stressed out about a procedure for Isaac, but I felt like my Mommy radar was going off. I guess I should always listen to that. We will reschedule the surgery at a later date after he gets more bananas=)

Now I'm off to go do something fun for myself while a nurse is still here.

I think that Mommy Radar is usually spot on! I am glad they postponed, to be safe. Now feed that boy some nanners! :)

Isaac is so cute! I'm happy to meet you both. I have a special boy, too. What a life!

Fingers crossed that the next surgery date will work out and that you'll feel right on about it, too.

Love, Bree
