This was the face I saw this morning when I arrived at the hospital. He looks SO much better than he did yesterday. He was just plain miserable.
They are continuing to give him racemic epi nebs and IV steroids, which has made a huge difference in the coughing and all of the stuff that was pouring out of his nose. He still didn't seem like he was interested in very much activity, but I brought up his favorite piano. Of course it wouldn't be a hospital stay without the ever so famous "crinkly paper." He loves kicking it with his feet. Hours of entertainment!Today I'm grateful for:
Being able to go home last night and rest while my Mom stayed at the hospital until midnight.
Having my Sister-in-law and home nurse beside me yesterday at the ER.
The super cool Intensivist (hospital doctor) working today.
