Email Delivery System

Is it just me or do computers make life more complicated sometimes??

This morning I discovered that everyone who is signed up for email notifications got a post in their inbox from 3 months ago. Since I'm not certain what would be causing this--if it's the actual program or maybe something is wrong with my computer, I deactivated the email delivery system for now.

I notified the email subscribers that I have kept their email addresses so that if I have any new updates, I can just send them the link by regular email for now.

Feel free to email me if you would like to be added to the list or have any questions. My email address is cbiscuit76@gmail.com

Of course regular "followers" with a blog/blogger/google account don't need to worry, this is only for people who are signed up for the email subscription.

Since I'm still rather new to the blog world, if anyone has any suggestions for a better email delivery program, please let me know what you have used in the past.

Hi/Lo Thursday

So after letting me vent the other day I decided to try this neat way of blogging by talking about the hi's and lo's of the week. If you're an email subscriber, you may not get notification until Friday morning, so I guess we can just call it Hi Lo Thursday and Friday. (:

My daughter is taking a teakwondo test today and if she passes she will get a trophy for being halfway to black belt. You go girl!

My husband keeps hinting that he wants to buy me a new laptop. I'm wondering what he has up his sleeve. He keeps measuring my computer screen to see what size it is.

I got to meet with an old friend last Thursday who makes me laugh so hard. It's always good to have friends like that.

I am so blessed to have women at my church who have walked through many hi's and lo's with me and still love me unconditionally. They have prayed with me, cried with me and laughed with me. Where else do you find people like that?

Lo's

Aside from the obvious (Gabby's passing)...... I've been going to bed waaaaaay to late and paying for it!

I've been dreaming of a day without anyone in my home where I could just sit with the boy and watch the world go by. This week especially.

I admit, I'm getting a little stressed about this flu going around, especially with an immune compromised kid and my husband and daughter are flying to Texas next month...should I really be worried?

Back To Reality

This was our view from the room, it was spectacular! We had a very nice weekend with dining and watching unlimited cable with no interruptions. Of course I can't complain too much about my hot stone massage and the manicure. Sam was pretending that he didn't know what to get me for our anniversary, so I figured a weekend away was a present enough. Well he surprised me with a pretty saphire ring. What can I say, the man definately scored some points! I can't say enough about how blessed I am to have Sam as my husband throughout the challenges we have faced in our marriage the past 10 years, but mostly the past year and a half with the little guy. Well, back to reality! We saw the ENT doctor today for a rescheduled follow up for his hearing exam. Well much to our surprise the doctor said Isaac might have the trach removed this summer! Hold on, let me pinch myself, she said what? These are words I thought I would never hear. So please pray! They also mentioned that Isaac responds better to high frequency sounds than low frequency sounds like I suspected. That's why when I talk to him in my mickey mouse voice he gets so excited.

Isaac's little friend Gabby continues to have a hard time and had to go back to the hospital, but it sounds as if this stay will hopefully be short.
