He's been on room air during the day AND the night. It's unheard of for him to not need oxygen during the night, but he hasn't needed it all week! With Isaac this could change on a dime, but for now...I'll take it!2 years ago today Isaac was in the PICU for pneumonia and didn't come home until right before Christmas. He also spent the whole month of November and most of December there his first year of life. So what can I say? A Mom can't help but be thankful that he's HOME. We are taking him to Grandma and Grandpa's house today. It should be fun.
Our big appointments went very well this month. Even though we are still electing not to do surgery, Isaac's hips are not showing a much of a change at all since 6 months ago. Last year there was a significant change in a 6 month period and it wasn't looking good. I'm thankful that the appointment wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be.
I'm also thankful for our nurses who make our life much easier and Isaac's teacher and therapists who come to our house every week and work with him. I don't know where we would be without them.
