Isaac's Favorites

A few people, including Isaac's special ed teacher have asked me how I found some of the apps he enjoys playing with on the iPad. One of the things I love about blogging is getting great ideas from amazing sites such as this one, or reading about daily experiences with learning and communicating such as Juniors Voice. Since Isaac is in the beginning phase of making choices with his Go Talk device, I haven't purchased anything for communicating yet. Some of those apps are expensive so for now we are just having fun until I can do more research. Since he loves cause and effect, these are some of his favorites so far. It doesn't require very much effort for him to make cool things appear on the screen.....

iBeams

iLoveFireworks

TouchyBooks

Doodle Buddy. (He likes playing with the stamps because it they make fun noises).

Art Of Glow

Baby Piano (fun and colorful)

Toddler Jukebox (Has all of his favorite songs)

Forest Friends (piano, stories, coloring)

Yep, I love what the iPad is doing for Isaac's mind. I believe that's his favorite, now. Keep on playin' and growin.'

Love,
Gammy

Thank you, thank you so much. I am going to Annabel's Ipad and download these. This is one of the wonderful things about the world wide web. Like Gammy said praying that Isaac keeps on playin' and growin'.

Oh the fire works and art of glow are also some of Junior's favorites. Another cause and effect type app he really likes is called Tesla Toy(doesn't make sound though). I love seeing Isaac with his ipad.
