Ever.

A couple of things I have learned on this journey:

In medicine, there are NO SUCH THINGS as always, never or impossible.

Each and every one of the special kiddos in this world are miracles and surprise doctors and their loved ones every day with what they can achieve.

I have a cousin who has Down Syndrome. He is 62 years old and shows no signs of slowing down! When he was born, my aunt was told that he would never walk, talk, or be a functioning member of society. She was told to institutionalize him, which is the way it was done in those days. She refused to do so and raised him herself. He learned to talk and walk and he receives awards for raising money for charity. My aunt is a wonderful and dedicated mama, just like you are.

I hope you can see that it is a great milestone that Isaac can sit up for 30 seconds. And that you and the love you and your family give him are major contributing factors to all he has accomplished so far. Give yourself a lot of credit friend. And don't let anyone steal your joy by telling you Isaac will never do something.Aliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04061378391288892565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3384245907689098337.post-42101803494027068602009-06-22T21:25:19.505-07:002009-06-22T21:25:19.505-07:00It's because of his awesome mommy that Isaac c...It's because of his awesome mommy that Isaac can sit for 30 secs!
